Scott Alcott

Chief Information Officer, Comcast

Scott Alcott joined Comcast in June of 2012 as the Chief Information Officer.

As CIO and head Systems Engineering, Scott aligns Comcast’s information technology strategy with rapidly evolving business objectives, using his ability to create strong field, line-of-business leader and technology peer relationships to deliver tangible business results.  His global, technical, and business leadership experience coupled with his distinguished recognition as an innovator takes the Systems Engineering function to the next level and accelerates our efforts to transform the customer experience.

Prior to joining Comcast, Scott held senior leadership roles in technical, commercial, operational and strategic capacities at Belgacom, S.A. in Brussels.  His diverse background includes running Mobile, Broadband, Telephony, IPTV, and ICT services full P&L’s, running network, field operations and IT. Scott ran multi-billion euro business lines and helped lead one of the largest Initial Public Offerings in Europe.  Scott has also implemented large-scale technical deployments including Europe’s first Fiber/VDSL build-out, LTE Radio Network build-outs, and full back-office systems replacements.  Scott currently serves on a board of an optical switching company in Silicon Valley.  Prior to Belgacom, Scott held various positions in technology, marketing, product management and business development for AT&T, AT&T Wireless, Ameritech and SBC.

Scott graduated from The Wharton School in Philadelphia.  He currently resides with his family in Princeton, NJ.
