Paige Prescott has been involved in Computer Science education for more than 10 years and STEM education for almost 20 years throughout NM and internationally. She is currently the President of the Computer Science Teachers Association of NM and is active in many organizations and schools in order to expand access to computer science education for all students in New Mexico. She has trained over 400 NM teachers in curriculum to engage young students in computer science through her role as a Code.org K-5 Affiliate, a facilitator for Project G.U.T.S. and her involvement in the Supercomputer Challenge community. Her passion for computer science education has led her to pursue a PhD to understand more about how students learn computer science concepts and is interested in the nexus of science and computer science curriculum.
